There was an issue with Fusion (free) on Mac. This has been fixed, and you can download installers from the support section.

Any specific hint about the issue itself ?

So does the added support for DNG means Fusion would properly read them after, as described in the manual, you've ticked the checker in front of "Remove Curve" Option in the Import tab under the Source Gamma Space, or it's just about the ability to at least open them in Fu? Will it be read and showed in the viewer the same way as DaVinci Resolve manages it?

Steve, the support section is still saying 8.1, when in fact the software has been updated to 8.1.1. I just verified this by reinstalling both Fusion and Fusion Connect.

Since i install 8.1 Studio my mac can't start without PRAM reset after working in Fusion. If i don't, startup works fine.

Was that a 8.1 bug also?

Where are the installers? I can't find them on the support page. Perhaps I am looking in the wrong place.

They are 8.1 when you click on them, 8.1.1 would be downloaded instead

Frame rate display keep fixed value. But playback has small lags. I turned off Vsync in my Preferences. But it is still there. Quadro K4200 and Win7. Fu7 is fine.

Repeat of the [ ] key has been fixed. Thank you.

https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/suppor ... and-fusion link to 8.1 is indeed 8.1.1

Trying out without dongle or DNxIO on OSX with MC 8.5

Seems to have fixed the error loop which required a 'force quit'.

'Edit effect' still creates the comp & launches Fusion but does not load the comp (is there a script tweak that gets around this?)

Manually opening comp in Fusion works - renders in Fusion are reflected in Avid. Most excellent.

Incidentally did find that if the clip has an apostrophe in the name (e.g. " Britain's ") it can cause incorrect comp to be created & clips exported without .raw file ending.

i must agree Hideki Inoue: Playback with fully cached Nodes , isnt 25fps! It always lag , and shortly displays 21fps .

Is your display running at 50Hz?

If you are having problems with playback, it might help if you change the update mode. It appears Auto is not kicking in quite as reliably as it ought.

Right click on the play button, and choose Playback Update -> Fast.

Yes, "Fast mode" has resulted in smooth playback for me. But there are still lags with "Full mode".

"Playback Update" is New option of Fu8? There is not in Fu7. What does this mean? There is no description in manual.

Thank you for your advice.
