Fusion not recognising .mov, .mp4 for import

Hi

Super new to Fusion, and pretty new to VFX in general, but I wasn't able to google up a definitive answer so I thought it'd be worth asking you guys. When I try to import existing footage, the loader window's not recognising the files I want. And when I look at the available filetype dropdown list, .mov and .mp4 aren't on it.

Have I skipped some part of the setup process, or are those filetypes just not accepted? Or is there some other fundamental thing I need to do before Fusion will let me import my footage...?

Do you have Quicktime installed?

Well... no, because of the security concerns in Windows. I can see that'd be a problem for .mov, but does it impact .mp4 compatibility as well?

You could try installing a Directshow .mp4 encoder.
