wave and write modifiers

These are two tools I use on a daily basis but which are absent from the current iteration of Fusion. Have they been relocated somewhere I've missed? If they're indeed gone, is there a plan for their return?

What is the 'write' modifier?

It was a Txt+ modifier that I vaguely recall having something to do with Raf. It lets you type on text in interesting ways. I've noticed 'From File' is also missing - so useful :(

I see. Yes, the Write-modifier was a Krokodove-tool. It is missing from the current version of Krokodove for 8 as well. And you can't use it in the free version at all of course.
Too bad the 'from file' is missing as well. I have no idea why that is.

It's very easy to replicate the 'Write' modifier by animating the 'Write On End' in the Text+ tool of course.

The write modifier actually behaves differently than write on and write off. If you have a right justified piece of text you'd have to offset it to the left as each character is revealed to achieve the same effect as write. Also there's a cursor.

Does any one have a sense as to whether or not this functionality may be restored?

I really miss the Text Formula modifier. I have some comps I did in Fusion7 (Eyeon) that used this so that I could easily animate a numerical date in Month/Year fashion by simply animating a floating point number and extracting the date from it using simple formulas and the n1 n2 and n3 controls.
To replicate this now it looks like I need three Txt+ tools since I can't find a way to successfully concatenate things using the simple expression tool.

This functionality should be in Fusion natively. It's basically just the Expression modifier other tools have that has a Text Out tab instead of a Number Out tab.

I'm still using 7.7 every day because of these modifiers being gone.
