Fusion Connect 8.2 - circular mask added to blur - crash!

Fusion Connect 8.2 to Fusion Studio 8.2
In Fusion, just have loader and saver initially
Add a blur between the two and with the blur node selected, click on circular mask control
Mask is created but then Fusion starts a cycle of displaying an error dialog about referencing itself and this dialog repeats (multiple visible at once) until eventually Fusion vaporizes.
If I open the same comp as a standalone (i.e., not launched from within Media Composer) everything seems to be fine.
BTW - Is this forum the only means to report potential defects or should I be joining a beta testing team?
