Hello,

I have started using fusion 8 on linux, I am trying to get .mov files loaded into fusion.

Is it not supported on linux? I tried installing gstreamer bad codecs and other quicktime libraries as well.

Just wondering, if not supported, so my only option is Win/Mac?,
Also would I be able to convert .mov into some other format like PNG/EXR?

i dont use the linux version but from other post here it seems right now you cant use .mov in the linux version

you can always convert you mov files into a image sequence, best is to use something lossless like exr, dpx, tiff with enough bit depth according to your source material. it wont bring you more "image quality" to convert a h264 encoded file into a 32bit float exr

the conversion can happen in you edit software or with some other tools like ffmpeg
