Alpha channel Texte on video bkg

PostThu Oct 13, 2016 4:12 pm

Fusion 8
Export *.mov
Hi
I want to make a texte clip with the bkg as alpha channel to set on top of a clip by editing. It seems I have my text with the alpha channel but it doesn't work. I already had this problem on ver 7 and I got the Hint to check by the saver the line "attempt to save alpha". On Ver 8 I cannot find this line. I try to attached the *.comp file but it is not allowed I compare the other file I did with ver7 and I cannot find where the set up is different.
So If someone has an idee!
Claude

Hi Claude.

The "attempt save alpha" only appears on the saver options if you choose a quicktime codec that really permits saving alpha.

In h264 it does not appear:

But in PNG, for example it does:
