Clone offset hotkey

PostWed Nov 16, 2016 5:02 am

I'm new to Fusion, or at least haven't used it professionally since the days the node pipes were represented as plumbing pipes and elbows.

I've been working on Resolve quite a bit and I'm in dire need of paint. Fusion paint seems to be simple and reasonable except I can't figure out one thing. How do you interactively pick the clone source in paint? Sort of like ALT+click in Photoshop. The tool manual's Paint entry is silent on this subject.

Have you tried ALT+click? Because that works for me.

Thanks Sander, that worked. For some reason the first time I was trying it the 'x' source cursor wasn't showing either. Maybe the software needed a restart.

Once a stroke is drawn, is there a way to adjust the XY offset gesturally or by using the keyboard to increase and decrease the value other than retyping?

Lastly, is there a way to use absolute pixel values for offsets instead of normalized coordinates?
