DOF before or after the renderer3D? For fast rendering

PostWed Nov 23, 2016 4:20 pm

Hi there,

I would like to create Depth of field for my 3d scene. And i was wondering if somebody could give me advice on what the best technique is. I mean i the sense of fast rendering times.

-Is it better to use a depth blur tool after the renderer3D?

-Or is it better to do it before the renderer3D --> with the Fog3D tool + Softclip tool + the Accumulation effects/Depth of field (in the renderer3D)

-Or is there any other better way to do it?

Here is a picture from my merge3D in Fusion:

And here a picture from the renderer3D:

Thanx in front
