retrieve old render node for fusion link

PostWed Nov 30, 2016 9:40 am

not sure if i should post this in the fusion or resolve forum, but here's the deal:
i have a timeline with only greenscreen shots, so i decided to give the fusion link a go and i must say it is some kind of a life saver. its really handy. i got a lot of almost-the-same shots, so im copy-pasting a lot inside fusion between the tabs.

only thing so far is, sometimes i forgot to re-attach the correct render node wich is connected with the timeline in resolve. if i then press the render button in fusion, it connects to the wrong shot in resolve.

i tried to change the render path in the render node, but all those folder-names are really hard to understand. for example: 0553d824-859b-4956-b59c-a7bd9dfad052 (all something like this)

i can create a new fusion clip and then copy the render node to the original fusion script, not that hard ofc, but it seems a little wonky. is there another way for this?

also, (a little feature-request) an option for sending to fusion with frame handles, or with original files (like xml or so, for example r3d files) would be perfect!

You might be able to select the fusion clip in the Resolve media pool and reconnect it to the correct rendered clip.
