I love the Pixel Sorting look and AE Scripts has an Aftereffects plugin to create that effect.

Any idea if it's possible to do Pixel Sorting within Fusion using the built-in tools?

i dont think that a combination of build in tools can achieve this, but a fuse can do it.
the basic algorithm is very simple (and slow) and can be done in a few lines of code
