Lightwave Camera Import - Unsupported File Format Error

I use Lightwave for my 3D work. I'm on 11.6.3 Have not upgraded to 2015 series as I'm waiting on the next release (crossed fingers).

I saved a scene with only a camera in it. Tried to import that LWS through the Camera3D Import Camera feature, but it errors out with Unsupported file format. The file dialog shows .LWS Lightwave as a selector.

What am I doing wrong?

Trey, try using the File > Export > Save 6.0 scene. It's probably when the .LWS scene import on the 3d camera was coded it used 6.0 format. I tried 5.6, 9.0 and I'm on LW2015 and none of those scene formats worked.

Now, if I can get Alembic import to work, I'd be glad. I can load .abc scene, but when I try to throw the .abc scene into a Viewer, Fusion crashes.
