Wires and Rod removal.

PostFri Feb 03, 2017 10:52 pm

Hello everyone, I'm new in the forum, and also starting up with fusion. I have experience on after fx in the past, but looking to expand horizons with tis powerful tool.

We have an upcoming project where wi will be in the need to remove wires and rods for almost a 30 minute show. This is not on green screen, its most likely painting and rotoscoping job.

I already looking for tutorials and documentation bot the best practices of how doing this in fusion, but like to ask if some one can point me in the right direction of the right tools and techniques.
I really appreciate any help or directions.
Regards.

have they shot plates for you? If not, for a 30 minute show, you are in for a lot of fun!!!!

If the shots are all moving, you will have lots of tracking and painting of clean frames to do.

If you have plates, it much simpler process of masking one layer over the other.
