Vray multi matte pass

PostTue Feb 07, 2017 10:41 am

Hey Guys ;)

I am new in Fusion so there is a lot WHAT WHY WTF atm .....

I got multi matte pass from vray and I would like to color correct the parts on my 3d object in Fusion separately.

Does anyone knows a good workflow for it?

Thanks.

I usually use three Bitmap nodes, with the Channel set to Red, Green, and Blue to separate the mattes.

If you have a mult-channel EXR, you can make a copy of the Loader and use the Channels dialogue in the Format tab of the Loader to shuffle the multi-matte channels into RGB before you can access them. Or you could assign them to various Aux channels and use a Channel Booleans to get them into RGB.
