obscure lights

PostWed Feb 08, 2017 1:31 pm

A spotlight is pointing at a 3d shape (a) and the light hits the shape. Another 3d shape (b) moves between the spotlight and shape (a). But the spotlight still hits (a). No obscuration takes place. I tried all the settings in shape (b). The light still passes through (b) and gets to (a).

How do I get a 3d shape (b) to obscure the light? How do I get anything to obscure lights?

Try to switch on shadows.

Hope it helps.

enabled shadows, changed density in light's shadow settings, it works now! Thanks!
