OK, so advantedge was the old software keyer from Ultimatte.
Will it get a new life now. And where will it be found; in fusion or resolve?
If only BMD could buy a 3D tracker company (like syntheyes or The Pixel Farm )....it's soon NAB

I doubt Syntheyes will ever be bought, since I have a feeling Russ Andersson values his independence too much.

Going by the trends if BMD buys any 3D tracker company , it will be possibly 3dequilizer. Now, If you take a look at the previous acquisitions BMD made , you will find some things common between them , pricing too high and industry grades , used in many top grossing films. I played with their PLE version , seems like it is pretty good but the interface kinda sucks , looks dated.
Another thing , what about something related to audio? BMD got a couple of Audio monitors too.

Like Fairlight?
Wow never knew that , my predictions are coming off, well now BMD will probably buy any 3D tracker or incorporate one into Fusion , but if incorporated into Fusion , it will probably get limited to the Studio version. I was ealier thinking , that BMD will buy Imagineer Systems , hush they were bought by Boris , I am still expecting them to buy 3DEquilizer (cause it has a Linux version) and offer a lite version of it.
