Fusion 9 Studio - OSX segfault 11

PostTue Aug 22, 2017 4:11 pm

---- EDIT - SOLVED ----
It was the LUTGallery.ofx.bundle plugin that caused the hang. So if you have that plugin installed with Resolve and have the same issue as I have, try deleting the plugin from "/Library/OFX/Plugins".
----------------------

Hi,

Today I got my Fusion 9 Studio package. I'm trying to start it on my Mac Sierra, but I end up with crash at app start, Segmentaion fault: 11.

When I start the app, I get this popup window:
"The last time you opened Fusion Studio, it unexpectedly quit while reopening windows. Do you want to try to reopen its windows again?
If you choose not to reopen windows, you may have to open and position the windows yourself
- Don't Reopen- -Reopen-"

Whatever I choose for option, it crashes with this information in the OSX error report:

Crashed Thread: 0 GUI Thread Dispatch queue: com.apple.main-thread

Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)
Exception Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0x0000000000000008
Exception Note: EXC_CORPSE_NOTIFY

Termination Signal: Segmentation fault: 11
Termination Reason: Namespace SIGNAL, Code 0xb
Terminating Process: exc handler [0]

What can I do? Does anyone have any tips? I have Resolve Studio installed on the same machine (V14b7), and it works.

You can keep the ofx plugin if you need it for Resolve and don't want Fusion to load it. Michael posted an ofx blacklist solution here:
