Shadows When Working with Image Planes?

Apologies if this is kind of a more basic question, but I am having some issues with shadows affecting image planes. See the photo below:

So as you can see, there are squares around there. I am assuming its because of the fact that the lighting is hitting the image planes, and not the actual PSDs? If this is the case, how can I make this work?

Fusion doesn't work well with transparency in 3d. They work if you render out the image with the Software Renderer, not OpenGL. Try to view it through the render, should work.
