Peace everyone,
Finally I found a solution to type Arabic correctly in Fusion,
it works just fine with the text+ node and even the 3dText node.

All you need to do is to use a small free tool called Tadween,
Here is the link to download the tool

Unfortunately, I don't know how to upload the image of my test, but just give it a try.

Hope this helps you to type Arabic without any problem in Fusion.

Thanks! I've linked to this thread from the previous question you posted so anyone who's following that will see it.

I'm on Linux and still trying with the Studio 16b1 release and no hope in the horizon.

Yes, Resolve's titles work just fine with Arabic, but Fusion's don't, and it seems like Fusion uses 3D titles or at least a Font to Object converter, so I guess it has to do with that specific part of the engine responsible for the modeling or shaping or whatever you might call it.

Gonna be watching if BMD would find us a solution, and if they want my shooting in the dark suggestion, they just need to enable UNICODE Charsets/UTFs to be used in their Fusion Titles' engine, because the actual text is shown as squares, exactly like when the browser doesn't recognize your charset and renders the letters as sq.boxes, and once you set it manually, it will be resolved.

Hi there,

the latest version now does Arabic correctly in text+ - haven't tried the text3d but imagine it will be fine there too

Best wishes
