Fu 16 beta Undo stack bugged / broken

PostTue May 07, 2019 12:56 pm

Easy to reproduce:
Create a Merge, change Center / Size / Angle values in Inspector (mix dragging slider, sliding numbers, typing values) try to undo to creation of tool, 9/10 times the Angle value does not reset to it's initial value of 0.

Hi Sven

Could you provide more information about:
a. your system - OS, hardware, drivers, input peripherals like styluses
b. Fusion - is it Resolve's Fusion page or Fusion standalone?
c. Could you post a link to a phone video / screen capture showing the anomaly on your system?

Great to see BMD picking up on this so quickly, as it looks like such a major bug - nice one, Shrinivas.

Good find! It gets quirky. It seems that the way you're changing the controls matters...

When you change the values using the usual controls, undo seems to work, but when you use the weird click-drag value boxes more than once, the undo stack doesn't build. Or something. In the below video, watch me change a parameter and using CTRL-Z once after every step to try to undo what I've done:
