Okay, I am new to DaVinci Resolve and I am trying to learn the best I can. Currently I want to add a logo png file to a clip for a video ending, like a logo drop in then my company name and website. Where do I begin? In fusion? Do I use a certain node? Thanks for any help and your time.

Just drag and drop all your media files to the flow area. You will need to use a merge node to overlay 2D images. You can set one file as the background and one as the foreground. More the two images can be combined by using more than on merge node. There are other ways to do what you want. This is just one way. From what it sounds like you want to do, Resolve may be a little more intuitive for you. If you want to add particles or lighting effects, Fusion is certainly the program to use.

That’s a big question. YouTube would be your best resource for all these question.
Search up JayAreTv on YouTube, his videos helped me a lot.

If you have a video project in the edit page and all you are trying to do is place a logo over top of it somewhere you might be better off just adding it as another layer in the timeline rather than using Fusion for that. Use Fusion if the logo has a solid background (not transparent) that needs to be removed, if you are trying to make the logo track some other object in the scene or warp it to fit around some existing object in the clip, etc.
