Hello,
I hope it’s alright to ask a basic question about Blackmagic equipment here.
I am a hobbyist video editing enthusiast who uses Davinci Resolve. My home setup is:
1. M1 Mac Studio
2. Studio display
3. External SSDs
The displays and SSDs are connected directly to the desktop.
I’d like to add a second screen to use as a reference monitor and to display the scopes during colour grading.
My two questions are:
1. Should I purchase an Ultrastudio 4K Mini in order to distribute the signal from the desktop to the two monitors? Each device would plug into the Mini. Is that the best solution?
2. Does Blackmagic make reference displays which are suitable for enthusiasts, not high-end broadcast facilities?
