Rafael is looking for an I/O solution to monitor with a Mac Studio.
I’d suggest looking into an external box like those from Sonnet, normally used for eGPUs. While eGPUs don’t work with Apple silicon, other cards should. I hope someone can verify, since I don’t own such a card. Alternatively, a cheap US Monitor 3G would work for monitoring color in HD.

As I already wrote, the Ultra Studio Monitor 3G is a low-cost solution if HD monitoring of color suffices. But it can be a bit tricky to use with an UHD timeline.
The UltraStudio 4K Extreme 3 is more expensive than a second-hand Sonnet and a DeckLink 4K, and there have been a few issues with its recent firmware.

Greetings,

For 8K Resolve Grading using the Mac Studio, with the intention of bypassing Apple's native color management, I'm looking for a solution similar to the UltraStudio Monitor 3G - which costs about $125 on B&H.

Would the UltraStudio 4K Mini Thunderbolt 3 Capture & Playback Unit be a good option?
Unfortunately, it costs $1055 on B&H. Isn't there anything cheaper - in the $200 range?

Thanks much.

Not exactly 200, but used expansion boxes and a DeckLink card should work in 4K:
