Some topics/approaches that might help.
1) I am wondering if you were relying on the color page transform for color science but then doing tracking in Fusion (calculated “before” color page effects are applied).
Manually use color transforms on the Fusion page - see tutorials on YouTube.
Or try a test project built in DR19 with the project settings configured to Davinci Resolve…”Color Managed”, and then right click on the media pool clip and go to Input Color Science and make sure it is appropriate for what the clip was shot in. Then go back to Fusion to track the clip.
2) cut a long clip into sections to make the tracking easier in each section
3) you might succeed in using planar tracker to follow say the walkway, and then Paint and/or clean plate over the people in a single frame that is then applied over the other frames of the clip section using the planar transform. I would think this is particularly effective for the zoom shots.
If not, then individual trackers to follow particular people as you were trying.
4) I presume you’ve looked at tutorials in YouTube. Might review more for dealing with log footage and tracking; how to use the spline editor to delete tracking points when your object leaves the frame; how to handle occlusion; planar and or individual trackers for object removal; and tips like cutting the clip into sections and trying the adaptive mode when tracking.

Good luck.
