Can't Get Hyperdeck 4k to Playback

My class is producing a newscast using a HyperDeck 4k and an ATEM 2 M/E Production Sudio 4k Switcher with an advanced panel.

In the newscast, we want to playback individual news stories stored in the Hyperdeck and triggered to start playing by pressing an assigned key on the Advanced Panel. When we try it, HyperDeck doesn't play.

We have the remote button on, the videos are pro res 4222.

The Hyperdeck is recognized, the IP is correct and the input is set to the correct AP key, and Autoroll is checked. One thing that stands out is the green check is not over the upper right corner is not there. Could that have anything to do with it? What does represent and how do I get it to show up?

In the ATEM software, we see that the HyperdDeck is again recognized, The playlist of test videos shows up. We can record and playback manually but not remotely.

You said the files play locally just not remotely.
Do All the files play, or are you just seeing that a file plays?

The reason i ask is hyperdeck is very picky about codec and framerate. I would double check that ALL the files are the same codec, and ALL the files are the same framerate. Also make sure the decks codec format still matches the codec of all the files. (this matters as well)
It is possible the first clip in your list is different from the decks setting, and is hanging the whole system.

Other than that, i would move all the clips off the drive, and record a 10 second test file locally, and then see if you can play it back. (With it being the only clip on the disc)

I'll have to hook mine up to see what you are referring to

Do you have a converter (SDI to HDMI or something similar) in between? In my test setup, I forget to power them. Then I'm looking at a black screen and see playback locally. It took me a couple of minutes to figure that out the first couple of times.

I must be running a different version software than you. I'm on 8.6.3. I don't see a green checkmark anywhere, and my hyperdeck is part of the media player tab, where yours has a separate tab for hyperdeck.
