audio sync

Can anyone help??

I filmed a 2 camera interview shoot recently on the Blackmagic 12K

Today, I ingested the footage and audio into AVID MEDIA COMPOSER, but there seems to be issues with audio, the external sound drifts over time

Also, even thought the two camera angles are clapped, one file drifts from the other over time

The A CAM clip didn't show a thumbnail, but three squares

After researching, I used a company called Treasured video repair service to recover the clip, which now has a thumbnail, however I cannot sync to the other angle and audio

CAN ANYONE HELP???

Please refrain from shooting Paul (all caps)

To assist you further, we need the frame rate of the two camera clips.
You can see this in Davinci Resolve metadata panel.

If the rate is the same you can sync them and the audio in the Media Pool on the media page.

Is it possible that your A camera was dropping frames during recording (and you didn't have the option active to stop recording when frames are dropped)?

What was the recording media?
How much drift is there over time?

In this thread someone had a similar problem:

which turned out to be a linear drift - so through some simple calculations I was able to get his audio back to sync.
