Feature Request - Timeline based grades bypass

PostSat Mar 16, 2013 2:23 pm

Hi,

Here's another usefull option that would be nice to add. :)
Sometimes directors or DP ask to watch sequence with and without grades. As far as I know, actually, there is no other possibiity than manually deactivate grades clips per clip then to reactivate them after.
Besides being time consuming, it can quickly become a pain when nodes that where deactivated on purpose become reactivated after.
A simple command that allows to globally bypass the graded version would be grate. Pretty like [Ctrl+G] in Apple Color.

If you're not using the Local Grades option, you can switch the entire timeline to Local and that'll give you the result you want. Then, after watching down, switch back to Remote grades.

An option to view a timeline 'Off Disk' would be nifty... Ideally it wouldn't turn nodes On / Off - it would just completely bypass all grading / LUT operations.
