Is there any move to enable an output from the HDMI out of this device so that you can use the extended desktop feature on a Mac that only has only 1 thunderbolt port?
This is a real showstopper at the moment since my MBP only has one combined Thunderbolt/mini display port.
When I'm using the box I can't simultaneously run an external computer monitor. I'm mainly working on FCP7
I think there is a faciltiy in FCPX to toggle between broadcast out and extended desktop, but I would like maximum desktop space at all times.
