Hi,
Hope everyone is doing well.
Could someone please direct me to the complete steps for a dailies workflow for both Avid and Premiere?
Thank-you,

This is kind of one of those "how to I build a boat?" questions. It's a big answer that would be hard to do in a forum message. I'm not sure if anybody's ever done a thorough article on a complete workflow between Premiere and Resolve, or a dailies workflow that they're willing to circulate publicly. Post houses have internal memos, of course, but each is kind of specific to each company.

I would point to two great workflow books:

"Modern Post: Workflow & Techniques for Digital Filmmakers"
by Scott Arundale
https://www.amazon.com/Modern-Post-Work ... 0415747023

"The Guide to Managing Postproduction for Film, TV, and Digital Distribution"
by Susan Spohr & Barbara Clark
https://www.amazon.com/Guide-Managing-P ... 1138482811

I learned quite a bit from both, since I only knew the dailies workflows we had done at Technicolor in the 2000s, and I could see there's a lot of ways to approach this challenge. One key I'd suggest: whatever you do, make sure you test the workflow and make sure it works for (say) a few minutes of material. Once you've verified that and the editor is happy, sound is happy, VFX is happy, and the colorist is happy, then you can tackle a project shooting dozens or hundreds of hours of material.

i'd caution against putting to much stock in that last link....
it ignores syncing, audio and lens metadata, backup, delivery, security
covers the easy stuff and seems to think the rest does not exist.. maybe useable for a small indie project, not much of use for anything larger
there's good reasons why a given software is the most commonly used in a given field, and a decent hint is that in dalies Resolve is not a common choice
