Match frame from subclip to master clip

PostThu Dec 01, 2022 1:45 pm

I have created a bunch of subclips. But when editing, sometimes I want to match back to the master to look for other things they say around that clip. In media composer I just hit match frame twice and i'm there. There doesn't seem to be anything similar to that in Resolve. Instead it lets you match back to the subclip and no further.

Is there a way to do this ?

No one ? I must not be the only "offline" editor struggling with this...

You might be the only offline editor using Resolve. :D

I'm pretty sure there’s a way to do that. Keep trying and let us know.

Found it! In the clip menu, "MATCH FRAME TO SOURCE CLIP". Pffff!
