Reimporting Project after sending to Colorist

PostTue Jan 31, 2023 1:57 am

Hello All,

I finished editing one of my first projects and I exported it all to a separate hard drive for the colorist to make the updates. He just gave me back the hard drive, but I am unsure about how to correctly reimport the project. Do I import the project file? Do I relink the media clips to the clips on the hard drive? I am unsure of my next steps in the process. Where do the color grad updates live on the project? Any help would be much appreciated!

You need to import his/her .drp file and relink the original sources.
If there is a reference clip, it would be very helpful to import it as such.
No, an iGPU is not enough, and you can't use HEVC 10 bit 4:2:2 in the free version.
