Desktop Video 12.4.2 still not working with Avid on PC

DV 12.4.2. is still not working for Avid Media Composer, as it should, since it still creates a Blackmagic Desktop Video folder, as opposed to Desktop Video folder. What this means is, whilst the video i/o device will work and be recognised, the hardware control panel is not accesible from within Avid, as Avid cannot find it. 12.4 is the last fully working version.

Please help with this, Blackmagic. There are many, many AVID users with your hardware.

deinstal 12.4.2
delete folder Blackmagic Desktop Video
restart and Install 12.4.0
