UltraStudio SDI, RS422 port not working w/ Media Express

Hi,
I have a "UltraStudio SDI" USB3 and the latest Desktop Video 12.4.2 drivers on Windows 10.
I am trying to use the RS422 deck control for log capture.

If I reboot and go directly into Premiere, it will work,
but once I start Media Express, the remote appears to be seen briefly, then when I go to capture it goes to "no remote" and will not work period..
AND, premiere will also no longer work until I reboot.

I was hoping to use MediaExpress (Not a fill premiere license) to capture.

Can BMD please respond on this bug please?

OK, I did more investigation.
I have a DeckLink SDI card with a RS422 port as well. I plugged that in to the computer I capture from, and all worked perfectly.
The USB3 based Decklink SDI card I have, I have been using as a basic SDI input from a Camera, and not tried to use the RS422 port until now. I assume, the RS422 port is stuffed. It some times works when I initially turn on the computer, but mostly does not. I expect its faulty from manufacture, but its very old now. So I guess I just have to only use it as a USB3 <-> SDI for monitoring and free-form capture.
