Recovered .BRAW Files cannot be readed

PostSat Nov 09, 2019 9:29 am

Hi everybody.
After a format on my disk I recovered .braw files with Disk Drill. Files are actually .MOV and can't be read in any software (I tried with Handbrake, Media Encoder, Premiere...). I tried to change .MOV to .BRAW and got the same result.
Is there any chance to read those files? (size of files is the same as the original, not names).
Thanks

I'm in need of the same info. I didn't format, did a manual delete. Disk drill found the files but I can't access them bc they are .MOV right now. Anyone?

If renamed to .braw, does Resolve also not open them?

I'm actually going through the same issue as we speak. I managed to recover roughly 56 files by changing them from .Mov to .Braw

This of course is not a guarantee by any means. From there I was able to offload the rest of my work onto Aero Quartet to scan. I still have a few rather important clips that I haven't had luck with yet
