Hyperdeck Shuttle and other codecs

Is there any plan to extend the number of codec options for the Hyperdeck shuttle to include more compressed recording options for longer recording times.
Don't get me wrong the uncompressed and the DNxHD options are great as but the capabilities of the device as a field recorder for longer shoots could extend the value of the device tremendously.
