Error starting MediaExpress in Ubuntu 13.04

PostThu Aug 01, 2013 4:36 pm

I have the Decklink mini recorder, installed everything smoothly, the control panel works ok.
when MediaExpress start I get the following error:

Violation segment (`core 'generated)

as sudo:
Violation segment (`core 'generated)

I have properly configured kernel modules
:
lspci | grep Blackmagic
1a: 00.0 Multimedia video controller: Blackmagic Design Device a130

lsmod | grep blackmagic

blackmagic 494679 0

The version I have is:

Blackmagic_Desktop_Video_Linux_9.7.7

that may be?

Thank you very much.

Okay, I tried on Ubuntu 10.10 and 9.10. Same result.
MediaExpress give a Segmentation fault on a fresh install with only the driver and MediaExpress installed.
Output from gdb.
Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.

0x0000000000841480 in MediaLib::DeviceHandler::getOutput() ()

I don't really need MediaExpress but it would help troubleshooting my setup.

Here's another strange error running DeviceList from the SDK.
