No.

Please refer to our Resolve Mac Config guide for supported hardware.

For this vintage of MBP, you need a 9600M GPU to run Resolve.

Saul what year is your MBP?
The 2009 Uni 17" has the 9400M and 9600M GT built in.
Im pretty sure that runs Resolve.
I run 8.2.2 under Snow Leopard on mine.
Someday Ill upgrade to Mountain Lion and Resolve 9 :)

That's right Eric, my MBP has these two cards and I downloaded the Resolve 9 Lite version and it is running!!!
The only is every time I launch the application it warns me the Cuda drives is not installed, then I install it and...works!!!
Thanks.

Some MBP's have both GPU's and some only the 9400M. I assumed you would have told us all the available GPU's you had.

Be aware that on systems with both the 9400M and 9600M, it's important to make sure your System Preferences Energy Saver is set properly.

If you have 2 selections, for "Better Battery Life" and "Higher Performance", then you need to select the "Higher Performance" selection.

If you have one selection called "Automatic Graphics Switching" you do NOT want to select that.

My apologies Dwain, I didn't know about the implementation of these two video cards, until Eric let me note it.
Now I will follow your advise, checking the "High performance" option in the system preferences. Thanks to all.
