Premiere Pro (2019 or 2020) Will not Import BRAW

PostThu Mar 26, 2020 7:08 pm

Did a shoot recently after updating the cameras BMPCC4K 6.8 and BRAW 1.7 so everything is on the latest builds. All good till I went to import into Premiere and I get an error code saying that the file format is not supported or the file is damaged. I double checked everything and it works just fine in BRAW Player and Resolve so I I know the files are fine. It seems the BRAW plug in in not installing in the library folder because there is not even a plug ins folder so where is it putting it? Is that the main issue? Any one else having this? Thoughts?

Hi
Are you on Windows or OSX ?

What files do you have in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\7.0\MediaCore ? Or for OSX /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/7.0/MediaCore/

Do you have CS6 installed, I found that the Braw codec went into the CS6 folder rather than the CC folders.
