Convert Synced Timeline to Multicam

PostThu Mar 26, 2020 8:55 pm

Hi all,

I have a sequence/timeline that has four video tracks (Cameras 1-4 respectively) and two audio tracks (main camera mic and a desk feed). I have manually synced everything as Resolves auto sync options couldn't do the sync. Anyway, is there any way to convert this sequence to multicam so I can edit it?

In Premiere, I could manually sync everything like I have done and then select the four video tracks and create a nested sequence. Then, that nested sequence could be converted to a Multicam clip.

Please tell me there is a way to do this easily in Resolve!?

Thanks

You could create a multicam clip and then copy/paste your timeline tracks into it.
Resolve 16.2
Mac OSX 10.14.6, Hackintosh i7 8700 32GB RAM, Radeon RX 580 8GB
FSI LM1770 Calibrated Monitor, MIDIGrade 2.0, Zoom R16 Audio Interface.
Avid, FCPX, Premiere.
