UltraStudio 4K Mini: FAN NOISE + ALWAYS ON

Is anyone also suffering from the UltraStudio 4K Minis noisy fan, which is a combination of a fan noise and a constant high pitch ultrasound? Any solutions or suggestions out there?

Also: How are you handling the fact, that there is no turn off button on this device? Do you keep it all time on?

I didn't even know the US 4K mini had a fan. Mine gets very warm but I have never heard a fan. I would talk to support if I was you.

Thanks for that, just bought it. Mine's set in the studio desk and it's difficult to reach the cord for recycling after firmware updates.

Mine is also very noisy. I thought its normal? It needs to sit on the Desk because of Thunderbolt 3 and the high pitched noise is very annoying. @JonPais yours is completely silent?

It's not completely silent, but compared to the noise of my MacBook Pro and three external hard drives, it is. Here's what it sounds like with the recorder right up against the fan, and afterward, what is sounds like when I sit at my desk just a couple feet away.
