Speed of a Resolve Graph
Hi,
I have a little difficulty to understand the "costs" of a graph in Resolve, but as I need to optimize, I need to have good habits:
Sometimes I add some nodes and see the performance dropping down, and sometimes it has absolutely no impact on fps.
so I have some questions:
- If I add a node that does nothing, will it be removed when building the graph and rendering ? (I use these nodes to act as probes at the different stages)
- Do I get a better optimization if I build a mask AND do a color correction in the same node, or is it ok if I seperate them into 2 nodes ? (actually I always separate maks and "actions", in case I need the mask for another purpose, later on)
- I would have bet on blur, as a good candidate for optims, but it looks like it does not cost a lot (when using GPUs)
- Is there a color correction type that is costing far more than the others ?
Cheers
