DeckLink Live Feed

Using the DeckLink Mini Recorder PCI card in my mac tower, I can see the live feed from my Canon Vixia HDMI port in QT7, BoinxTV software, and the Blackmagic Media Express, but not in iMovie 9, which I get a live feed from the DV port in just fine. Blackmagic support said "If you can see the video in Media Express, then we are good....Choose the corresponding input source, resolution and frame rate in iMovie." but I still don't see it.
Anybody know what I might be doing wrong?
