Multibridge Pro 2 - 'Quiet Fan' Option greyed out

We recently replaced our Intensity Pro with a Multibridge Pro 2 which seems great - expect for the crap, noisy fan. I ordered and received an replacement fan but annoyingly its exactly the same - noisy as hell.

Via a google search I discovered that theres actually a setting in the BM Desktop Video drivers called 'Set Cooling Fan Speed' - "Low Speed for Quiet Operation'. Why is this greyed and can we please have this feature back?

The whine from the fan makes having the multibridge on the desk almost impossible.

Word to the wise, I wouldn't even consider this option because it implies that the fan would be either running at very low speed or not running at all. All my BMD products with fans have been functioning perfectly, and I have found the BMD products without proper cooling to be quite abit more unreliable. Besides, it's not THAT noisy...
