There is no public API to control MediaExpress. However the deck control feature is exposed in the COM based DeckLink SDK and is accessible in any COM enabled programming languages(Visual C++, C#, VB.NET etc.). Check out the DeckControl sample in the SDK.

How would I interface to the DeckLink SDI card through LabWindows CVI? CVI is a C only (not C++) IDE so I'm not sure where to start. I just want to programmatically play an HD video through the output of the deckLink card.

Kevin,

You might be better off emailing the BMD-dev mailing list for answers. It has other programmers using the decklink sdk.

Cheers,

Andrew
