I am very new to this world, Just got my rig together and gave my BMCC a test run.

I am shooting in RAW and the footage i get is not at all flat. In fact it is overly contrasty when i look at it in resolve. Also there is way to much grain.

I understand it could very well be a underexposing issue, however it doesn't seem right, i get a flat look when i recorded in prores, but not RAW.

Am I missing something? Any help would be great guys thanks.

OK so I found the issue.

For any other newbies having this problem in resolve here is the video that helped me resolve it

The grain issue was because coming from dslr i usually expose perfect or under expose. I underexposed and I've read now that with bmcc it is better to overexpose.
