Prores Editing and backup compatiable drives?

Can I comfortably use this as HDD internally for editing BMCC MFT Apple ProRes and Avid DNxHD in 1920x1080 10-bit ?

Yes to all, although I personally have had a couple of Western Digital drives fail in the last year so wouldn't recommend them.

You should consider a multi disk RAID enclosure for editing ideally. A 4 bay enclosure that supports RAID5 would be perfect. There are a lot out there, depending on whether you're using a mac or PC. I'm a recent LaCie convert, but there are Promise, Qnap, and many more.
