Mac mini with Davinci Resolve

Has anyone had any experience color grading with the Fully spec Mac mini and a egpu. How well does it do when color grading 4K footage?

My current setup is a 2017 MacBook Pro with a 3.1 i7 processor.

Which GPU does your MBP have?
The strongest Mac mini with a RX580 in my eGPU works pretty well here for 4K in a HD timeline.
With a 4K timeline you'll run into some limits pretty soon, depending on your source codec.
