UltraStudio Express doesn't work at all
Hello experts
I really hope that you're able to help me. I'm working with a Retina MacBook Pro that runs OS X 10.8.4, I'm using an UltraStudio 3D and a UltraStudio Express with a GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition. The Desktop Video version I've installed is 9.7.7. To see a video I'm using Wirecast.
I guess this is all you need to know. Now what's the problem?
If I connect the UltraStudio 3D over Thunderbolt to my Mac I can see the live video from the GoPro Hero 3 (1080p50).
So far, so good.
Now I change the hardware setup. The UltraStudio 3D is replaced by the UltraStudio Express (that is Tunderbolt-powered). The settings in the control panel are exactly the same... but I can't see any live video from the GoPro Hero 3. It doesn't matter what input signal I use. The screen remains black.
Now my question: I guess that the box hangs. Is there ANY possibility to hard-rest the hardware? Or a log file where I can see what the problem is?
Greetings from Switzerland
