UltraStudio Express doesn't work at all

Hello experts

I really hope that you're able to help me. I'm working with a Retina MacBook Pro that runs OS X 10.8.4, I'm using an UltraStudio 3D and a UltraStudio Express with a GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition. The Desktop Video version I've installed is 9.7.7. To see a video I'm using Wirecast.

I guess this is all you need to know. Now what's the problem?
If I connect the UltraStudio 3D over Thunderbolt to my Mac I can see the live video from the GoPro Hero 3 (1080p50).

So far, so good.

Now I change the hardware setup. The UltraStudio 3D is replaced by the UltraStudio Express (that is Tunderbolt-powered). The settings in the control panel are exactly the same... but I can't see any live video from the GoPro Hero 3. It doesn't matter what input signal I use. The screen remains black.

Now my question: I guess that the box hangs. Is there ANY possibility to hard-rest the hardware? Or a log file where I can see what the problem is?

Greetings from Switzerland

Ralph

The Ultrastudio express doesn't support 1080p50 so you'd need to set the GoPro to something it does support then set the Ultrastudio to those settings

You're right! Whoohoo! I didn't notice that the UltraStudio Express does not support 1080p50. But after I changed the input signal to 720p60 it worked well.

Thank you for your advice!
