BMCC dng folders not seen in Davinci Resolve Lite?

PostWed Aug 28, 2013 7:01 am

Hi,

So when I came back from filming on a hired BMCC over the weekend I went to import the footage (2.5k, RAW, 24p) and noticed that only roughly 15 of the 70 folders containing the dng files on the SSD's were showing in Davinci Resolve Lite. I did some further research and found out that a common answer for this was dropped frames. However I checked one or two of the non importing folders and found no dropped frames. Any suggestions or workarounds?

Thanks!

If I'm not mistaken, I think your issue is that the max resolution in Lite is 1080 so it won't see the 2.5k resolution.

Hi.... Only a wild guess but try transferring file to your primary drive and then check again..... I have too been on Resolve Lite and I always first make transfer of files to HDD

No that's not the case fella..... Resolve Lite do handles 2.5K dngs. It's actually the output through Resolve Lite which would have max resolution of 1080 not the input files
