hyper deck shuttle update

I bought my hyperdeck shuttle like 2 years ago i never used it for anything but a test
why ?
due to the large format , keeps me thinking if i have enough space , well what im asking
is it all the update here are for the V2 ?
cause i updated mine to the latest 3.8
and i still don't see no display no compressed , it is the same as i got it and i don't see anyone taking about , that mean im the only one having this problem
if anyone can help or this is how it suppose to be , please let me know
