Imorting uncompressed 10bit QuickTime to Premiere Pro CS6

PostMon Sep 02, 2013 9:29 pm

Hi!

Trying to export from Resolve 9 Lite (Latest, PC, Windows 8) to uncompressed 10bit QuickTime (and DNxHD 185) and reimport to Premiere Pro CS6: "Codec missing or unavailable". I tried to install Desctop Video Driver from Black Magic (latest, from the site) - get the same error...

Uncompressed 8 bit - no problem (but I need 10 bit for test with 10 bit projector in the local theater)
DPX - no problem (but then i can't export XML, and have to manualy replace more then 1000 pieces in timeline)

How can I check, that BlackMagic Driver works with PP CS6?
What can I do else for export and import lossless video in to PP CS6 (with XML)?

Are you trying to output 2K? You'll can't use the LITE version for that.

grab one of those shots, put them in the home directory, change the name to "goofy.mov" and try.

1) if does work is a matter of names/spaces/illegal characters/path
2) if does not work we will go to the next step
W10-19043.1645- Supermicro MB C9X299-PGF - RAM 128GB CPU i9-10980XE 16c 4.3GHz (Oc) Water cooled
